Boyer Bransden Power Box 3 Phase Battery Eliminator kits are the ultimate solution for replacing a battery in a Permanent Magnet Alternator (PMA) charging system. These are perfect for people who want to eliminate a battery from their 3-Phase PMA system, but also want to use modern digital advance ignition systems such as a Boyer Bransden Micro Power systems (TC Bros #108-0076). These power boxes replace the voltage regulator, rectifier, and capacitor that is usually found in batteryless PMA systems, but provide the "ultra-clean" power delivery required by sensitive digital ignition advance units. Although not required, these power boxes can also be used with stock points ignition systems or electronic ignitions using mechanical advance units (PMA charging swap required). Pair this power box with a Yamaha XS650 PMA Conversion kit (TC Bros #108-0004) for the ultimate in XS650 performance. Note: these power boxes will only work with 3-phase PMA charging systems and will NOT work with a stock XS650 charging system. Will not power an electric starter.
