Your stock Dyna seat is polymer. Plastic pans can flex, especially when exposed to engine heat. When the pan flexes, the foam moves out from underneath the rider, leaving one with inadequate cushion. It may sound counterintuitive, but a firm pan is just the ticket for comfort.
This cobra seat is handmade in the USA. It's built upon a solid steel pan for that aforementioned comfort and for longevity. The seat is then amply padded with foam, covered, and carpeted.
