Think of this carburetor kit as the barebones, DIY model. No air cleaner is provided, no enrichment linkage, no support bracket, no backing plate, no intake manifold. The expectation is that this carburetor is replacing a worn body on an OEM motorcycle that's already outfitted with a Super E, or for a custom build where the builder will make provisions for carb support, air cleaner, and choke operation.

Several main and idle jets are provided, along with both the tall and short cable brackets to work with most early- and late-pattern Harley-Davidson OE or aftermarket throttle cables. This kit is intended for use on Sportster and Big Twin spanning decades, hence the inclusion of jets. Even still, this isn't a complete kit—precise fitment details are up to you if not installing this on a bike already outfitted with the other accoutrements S&S builds and recommends.
